1 ACE Billet EFI to carburetor adapter. |
|
|
4 Allen head bolts and washers. |
|
|
4 Carburetor studs. |
|
|
4 Flanged nuts |
|
|
1 ACE Holley base gasket. |
|
|
1 ACE Adapter to EFI manifold gasket. |
|
|
|
| Installation |
|
|
|
| *
Remove upper manifold from lower manifold. Discard upper manifold. |
|
| *
Insert rag into manifold opening. |
|
| * Clean off old gasket material. |
|
| *
Install carburetor studs in to new adapter. Torque to 16-24 lb-ft. |
|
| *
Studs may be installed point up if desired, using two nuts lock together to
torque. |
|
| *
Remove rag. |
|
| *
Using new gasket install adaptor with ACE logo pointing away from valve
cover. |
|
| *
Use the allen head bolts with washers to secure new adapter. Torque to 14-21
lb-ft. |
|
| *
Install carburetor gasket and carburetor. |
|
| *
Install washer head nuts. Torque to 11- 18 lb-ft. |
|
| * Install linkage and fuel line. |
|
| *
Start engine and set idle. |
|
|
|
|
| To
check for leaks, spray water between adapter and manifold. |
|
|
