1 Reducer kit with bolts &
nuts. |

2 large ACE decals |

|

Raise vehicle a
minimum of 24” |
|
|
Clean head surface of all
gasket material. |
|
|
Coat header gaskets. (Pam
or High Heat Silicone recommended) |
|
|
Remove oil filter,
sparkplugs starter, steering shaft. |
|
|
Left side |
|
|
Remove # 1 / # 2
cylinders, tubes from header. |
|
|
Install header gasket if
using studs |
|
|
Slide rear section up
into place. |
|
|
Insert gasket, start
header bolts. |
|
|
Install # 2 cylinder tube
start nuts, bolts. |
|
|
Install # 1 cylinder tube
start nuts, bolts. |
|
|
Hold collector, just off
of floor of vehicle, |
|
|
Tighten nuts/bolts from
the center out. |
|
|
Install steering shaft. |
|
|
Install spark plugs and
oil filter. |
|
|
Check header to chassis,
engine clearances. |
|
|
Right side |
|
|
Remove # 1, # 3, # 4
cylinders, tubes from header. |
|
|
Install header gasket if
using studs |
|
|
Guide header and number 2
tube section up into place. |
|
|
Insert gasket, start
header bolts. |
|
|
Install # 3 cylinder
tube. |
|
|
Install starter from top. |
|
|
Install # 4 cylinder
tube. Thru fender well |
|
|
Install # 1 cylinder
tube. |
|
|
Hold collector, just off
of floor of vehicle, |
|
|
Tighten header bolts from
the center out. |
|
|
Install spark plugs.
Check routing of secondary wires. |
|
|
|
|
|
After reaching operating
temperature check header bolts. |
|
|
|
|
|
Headers are coated with
Rustoleum high heat barbeque paint. |
|
|
Headers that are coated
must be heat cycled minimum of 2 times |
|
|
|
|
|
