Left / Right Headers

1 pr. Gaskets

12 3/8" x 16 x 1" bolts

1 Reducer kit with bolts & nuts.

2 large ACE decals

Raise vehicle a minimum of 24”

Clean head surface of all gasket material.

Coat header gaskets. (Pam or High Heat Silicone recommended)

Remove oil filter, sparkplugs starter, steering shaft.

Left side

Remove # 1 cylinders, tube from header.

Slide rear section up into place.

Insert gasket, start header bolts.

Install # 1 cylinder tube start nuts, bolts.

Hold collector, just off of floor of vehicle,

Tighten nuts/bolts from the center out.

Install spark plugs and oil filter.

Check header to chassis, engine clearances.

Right side

Remove # 1 & # 4 cylinders, tubes from header.

Guide header and number 2 tube section up into place.

Insert gasket, start header bolts.

Install starter.

Install # 4 cylinder tube.

Install # 1 cylinder tube.

Hold collector, just off of floor of vehicle,

Tighten header bolts from the center out.

Install spark plugs. Check routing of secondary wires.

After reaching operating temperature check header bolts.

Headers are coated with Rustoleum high heat barbeque paint.

Headers that are coated must be heat cycled minimum of 2 times
