Courier V8 Installation
Ford 221, 260, 289, 302 CI engines with C4 transmission.
351 W will require custom headers.
Parts needed;
Front engine adapters  # 10300 Fan, 15”- 17” (Staggered seven blade)
Transmission cross member # 10305 Oil filter Fram PH35 or 90* adapter
 Engine cushions 122257 ( 2 ) Lower hose Dayco M12
Transmission cushion 122253 Upper hose Dayco M06
Stock or deep front sump oil pan. Mustang V8 Cable, throttle assembly
Short water pump Mustang floor shifter assembly.
Radiator 22" x 19" Factory mini starter preferred.
Installation procedure.
 1.     Remove Hood and Front Bumper.
 2.     Mark and disconnect all wires, hoses, linkage, etc.
 3.     Drain fluid responsibly, remove radiator.
 4.     Remove existing engine and trans.
 5.     Cut existing engine frame mounts off, grind flush and smooth.
 6.     Weld new engine mount adapters, 14 ¼” back, 2 ¼” down on frame. Fig. A
 7.     Trim fender wells for headers. Fig. B
 8.     Trim off hook and gravel pan tabs. Pan tabs may be relocated if desire.
 9.     Trim bell housing on passenger side per Fig. C
10.   Trim radiator core support per Fig. D
11.   Unbolt and drop down sway bar. (To be reinstalled later)
12.   Bend lip at center of fire wall up 1” and back 1 ½”. Fig. E
13.   Move heater hose openings, drill new holes after engine is installed. Fig. E 
14.   Install engine & trans as a unit, utilize a high angle
15.   Install trans Cross member.
16.   Install water pump.
