Oil filter Fram PH35 or
90* adapter |

Engine cushions 122257 ( 2 ) |
|
Lower hose Dayco M12 |
|
Transmission
cushion 122253 |
|
Upper hose Dayco M06 |
|
Stock
or deep front sump oil pan. |
|
Mustang V8 Cable,
throttle assembly |
Short
water pump |
|
Mustang floor shifter
assembly. |
|
Radiator
22" x 19" |
|
Factory mini starter
preferred. |
|
|
|
|
|
Installation procedure. |
|
|
1. Remove Hood and Front Bumper. |
|
2. Mark and disconnect all wires, hoses,
linkage, etc. |
|
3. Drain fluid responsibly, remove radiator. |
|
4. Remove existing engine and trans. |
|
5. Cut existing engine frame mounts off, grind flush and smooth. |
|
6. Weld new engine mount adapters, 14 ¼”
back, 2 ¼” down on frame. Fig. A |
|
7. Trim fender wells for headers. Fig. B |
|
8. Trim off hook and gravel pan tabs. Pan tabs may be relocated
if desire. |
|
9. Trim bell housing on passenger side per Fig. C |
|
10. Trim radiator core support per Fig. D |
|
11. Unbolt and drop down sway bar. (To be
reinstalled later) |
|
12. Bend lip at center of fire wall up 1” and
back 1 ½”. Fig. E |
|
13. Move heater hose openings, drill new
holes after engine is installed. Fig. E
|
|
14. Install engine & trans as a unit,
utilize a high angle |
|
15. Install trans Cross member. |
|
16. Install water pump. |
|
